Armenia closes channels for circumventing anti-Russian sanctions

Armenia stops re-export of goods to Russia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan demanded that the tax and customs services close the channels of circumvention of anti-Russian sanctions. This is written by the publication Hraparak.

Last year’s revenues to the Armenian treasury rose by 26%. Customs duties - almost threefold, to 2.5 billion dollars. This is how much Armenia earned due to increased re-export of goods to Russia.

Recall that in 2022 Yerevan sharply increased imports from European countries (Germany, Italy, Spain, UK). Then some imports - with pasted labels - came to Russia.
