The gap between the highest and lowest average salaries in Russian regions has reached a record 200,000 rubles.

A RIA Novosti study based on Central Bank data revealed that the republics of the North Caucasus have the highest proportion of problem mortgages in Russia. The delinquency rate in Ingushetia reached 10.4% of all issued loans, in Dagestan 4.4%, and in Tyva 4.2%. Chechnya and North Ossetia were also among the regions with high delinquency rates (3.6% each).

RIA Novosti analysts presented an estimate of consumer demand in Russia for 2025. The figures were calculated by combining retail turnover, food service turnover, and the volume of paid services.

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with North Ossetia Head Sergei Menyailo in the Kremlin. The main topic of discussion was the republic's socioeconomic progress.

Ingushetia leads the North Caucasus Federal District in housing affordability. According to Rosstat data for the fourth quarter of 2025, the average price per square meter in the republic was only 60,000 rubles on the new-build market and 61,000 rubles on the resale market.

A CIAN study found that Ingushetia, Dagestan, and Tuva top the list of Russian regions for mortgage delinquency. In 2025, the average delinquency rate nationwide doubled, reaching 1% (compared to 0.5% the year before), while the total debt rose to 206 billion rubles (from 95 billion).

Regions of the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD) ranked last among Russian regions by bank deposit size per capita.

According to the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (EISIS), the average monthly wage in Ingushetia, Dagestan, and Chechnya does not exceed 50,000 rubles. This figure is significantly lower than in leading regions such as the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (209,000 rubles), Magadan Oblast (179,000), Moscow (173,000), Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (168,000), and Kamchatka Krai (164,000).
