Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has warned that Russia’s restrictions on Armenian exports are calling into question the future of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), saying the dispute could mark “the beginning of the end” for the Moscow-led bloc if it is not resolved soon.

In the first quarter of the year Armenia took the fifth place in the ranking of the most popular destinations of foreign travel of Russians. The country was visited by more than 84 thousand citizens of the Russian Federation. The first positions in the list were taken by Turkey, the UAE, Thailand and Egypt.
In 2022, 1 million 670 thousand tourists visited Armenia. About 46% came from Russia, about 11% - from Georgia, about 7% - from Iran. The United States and Germany, in turn, provided Armenia with 3% and 1% of the total number of visitors, respectively.
