Azerbaijan has begun importing goods from Armenia amid a peaceful partnership

Azerbaijan and Armenia have begun implementing a peaceful and mutually beneficial economic partnership. Baku has recorded its first import of goods from Armenia. As of March of this year, this figure stood at $960.

At the same time, in the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan's exports to Armenia significantly exceeded imports, reaching $5.7 million. Diesel fuel and gasoline accounted for the majority of exports since December 2025.

These steps followed the signing of a peace declaration between the countries in the United States in 2025, which ended years of military and political confrontation and paved the way for cooperation.
