During the annual "Year in Review" press conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin, responding to a question about support for young families, noted the tradition of early marriages in the North Caucasus. He said he believed this was "right" and suggested "following their example," citing Ramzan Kadyrov's large family.

96%, 88% and 83% of residents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, respectively, are ready to fight for their homeland. These are the results of a survey conducted by the international research organization Gallup International. These countries made it into the top five along with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
In Ukraine, judging by polls, 62% of residents are ready to defend their country. In the Russian Federation - only 32%, while 48% answered “I don’t know”, and 20% - that they are not ready.
The organization notes that as part of the study, 46,138 people from 45 countries were interviewed. 52% of respondents said they agreed to fight for their Motherland. 10 years ago this figure was 61%.
