Chechnya has become one of the leaders in tourism dynamics in Russia
In 2024, the growth of tourist flow to Chechnya amounted to 35%. The republic has become one of the leaders among the regions of the Russian Federation in this indicator, said the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov at the board meeting of the department.
 
Also among the leaders were Tuva, Ryazan and Ulyanovsk regions. The average dynamics of domestic tourism in Russia amounted to 10%. Moscow and Krasnodar Krai also remain popular destinations. The Ministry of Economic Development expects to reach the previously predicted figure of more than 91 million trips.
 
The Arkhyz resort in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic demonstrated a 60% increase in the number of winter orders - this is a seasonal indicator. Chechen resorts show an average annual increase, concerning both seasonal and year-round locations.
