The official rejected information about compulsory listening to the song “I am Russian” in schools in the North Caucasus

Nowhere in the North Caucasian Federal District and Adygea is there and will not be a listening to the Shaman’s song “I am Russian” before lessons in schools. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Education of Kabardino-Balkaria Ekaterina Misostova, rejecting the information that appeared earlier in the media.

Earlier, the Adyghe newspaper “Adyge Mak”, citing the Minister of Education of Kabardino-Balkaria, reported that the above initiative with the singer Shaman was put forward by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. She was allegedly supported by the ministries of education of the republics of the North Caucasus Federal District. In addition, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation also called this idea correct and recommended that it be included in the plan for patriotic education of schools throughout the country.

The publication on the Adyge Mak website about plans for daily listening to the song “I am Russian” has now been deleted.
