Another defendant in the corruption case of the brother of the head of Ingushetia has been charged

In Ingushetia, the former head of the Ekazhevo post office has been charged with theft. She is involved in a criminal case involving the former head of the federal postal service of Ingushetia, Magomed-Bashir Kalimatov. He is the older brother of the head of the republic, Kazbek Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov.

The woman is charged under the articles “Organization of a criminal community or participation in it using one’s official position” (Part 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), “Fraud committed by a person using one’s official position, by an organized group, on an especially large scale” (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The investigation believes that Magomed-Bashir Kalimatov is one of the organizers of the thefts in the amount of 2 billion rubles. He is in prison.

According to the investigation, the criminal group was created by the head of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in Ingushetia, Islam Seinaroyev, and the head of the local branch of the Russian Post, Kambulat Sukiyev. In total, it included 34 people, most of whom were arrested, including Kalimatov. It was noted that his actions contained elements of a crime under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft by fraud).
