Head of the Council of United Circassia: "The peoples of the North Caucasus will gain independence"

The peoples of the North Caucasus will gain independence, one by one, through a common struggle. This was stated by the head of the Council of United Circassia Kenan Kaplan.

“The Circassian nation will continue to fight for its existence until the independent republic of Circassia is created on the historical territory. Today, the Ukrainian nation and the Ukrainian state live by analogy with what the Circassian nation is experiencing. We declare that we do not accept any status other than the independent state of Circassia,” said Kenan Kaplan.

It should be reminded that at the end of May a conference dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Mountainous Republic was held in Kyiv. Among the main issues discussed at the event were the genocide of the Circassian people and the need for its recognition by Ukraine.
