During the annual "Year in Review" press conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin, responding to a question about support for young families, noted the tradition of early marriages in the North Caucasus. He said he believed this was "right" and suggested "following their example," citing Ramzan Kadyrov's large family.
The State Duma did not support Alaudinov's call to mobilize millions of Russians for war with Europe
Today, there is no need for a general mobilization in Russia. This was stated by the head of the State Duma Defense Committee, Andrei Kartapolov.
"This is Apti Alaudinov's personal opinion. Today, there is no need for mobilization, I have said this many times and I will repeat it again," Kartapolov emphasized.
Earlier, the deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the RF Armed Forces, commander of the Chechen unit "Akhmat" Apti Alaudinov called for a general mobilization in Russia to confront Europe.
"If such a situation arises, we need to think about a general mobilization - to gather an army, a couple of million, and put them all in a position from which they will never get out of it. And after they want to clash with us, Europe and most of the European states will cease to exist," Alaudinov said.
This was his response to French President Emmanuel Macron's words about the introduction of European troops into Ukraine to guarantee its security and the use of a nuclear arsenal to protect the entire European Union. According to Macron, Russia "has become a threat to France and Europe."
