Khabib Nurmagomedov could have hidden his UAE citizenship

Former champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), native of Dagestan, Khabib Nurmagomedov is a citizen of the UAE. He hides the presence of a foreign passport. The Dossier center reported this.

For the past 10 years, the athlete has crossed the US border with his UAE passport. According to the Emirati law, which was in force until 2021, he could only obtain citizenship of this country by renouncing Russian citizenship. The day before, Nurmagomedov landed in the UAE, where he joined Islam Makhachev’s training camp.

It was recently reported that Khabib owes the Russian budget 306 million rubles in taxes. It is noted that the Federal Tax Service blocked the accounts of the promotion of the Russian fighter Eagle FC and the athlete’s charitable foundation. The uncle of the former UFC champion denied this information.
