Ingushetia and other regions of the North Caucasus have the lowest personal income levels in Russia. In the RIA Novosti rating, Ingushetia ranked 85th, with a per capita income to cost ratio of 1.20 and a per capita income of 26,800 rubles per month, the lowest in the country.
Ingushetia and Dagestan became leaders in industrial production dynamics
Rosstat named the regions with the fastest production growth in 2023. Ingushetia and Dagestan entered the TOP 10, taking fourth and ninth places, respectively. The growth of industrial production in Ingushetia amounted to 17.1%, in Dagestan – 14.4%.
The leaders of the year in Russia are the Kamchatka Territory (+29.5%), Chuvashia (+27.2%) and the Sakhalin Region (+17.4%). According to Rosstat, in most regions of the Russian Federation, industrial production growth in 2023 was higher than the national average (3.5%). Of the 85 regions, 21 showed negative dynamics in production growth. The worst situation is in the Primorsky Territory (-11.6%).
