Ingushetia and Karachay-Cherkessia ranked last in terms of population involvement in small business
The share of small and medium-sized business workers in Ingushetia is 12.2%. This is the worst result in the Russian Federation, based on data from RIA Novosti.
Also among the outsiders was Karachay-Cherkessia with an indicator of 23%. Kabardino-Balkaria is located in 73rd place (28.2%), North Ossetia - in 77th (27.4%), Chechnya - in 78th (26.8%), Dagestan - in 80th ( 26.4%).
The leaders in the ranking are Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Novosibirsk region. In each of these regions, SMEs employ more than 50% of the total number of people employed in the economy.
