An Ingush opposition blogger reported a police visit to his father.
A native of Ingushetia living in Ukraine, activist Ruslan Youloy reported on a visit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs CPE staff to his father in the village of Yandar, Nazran district. This, in his view, is due to opposition activities.
According to Ruslan Youloj, the security forces demanded that the father give information about his son. It is alleged that he is a member of the newly established Committee for Ingush Independence in Turkey, which advocates secession of Ingushetia from Russia. According to the activist, he shares the views of the Committee but is not a member. The interest of the security forces is related to the fact that he takes an anti-war stance and tells about the Russian government’s crimes against Muslims.
