The Ingush Red Cross filed a complaint with the ECHR.

The European Court of Human Rights accepted the claim from the Ingush branch of the Red Cross, recognized by the Russian authorities as a foreign agent.
According to lawyers, the Russian authorities violated the right to freedom of expression and association. This is contrary to the Convention on Human Rights.
The Ingush Red Cross was recognized as a foreign agent in 2019. The Ministry of Justice accused the organization of obtaining funding from the International Committee of the Red Cross from Switzerland. It is the largest aid organization worldwide.
