A third shipment of humanitarian aid has been sent from Russia to Iran via Azerbaijan

The third Russian humanitarian convoy, consisting of seven trucks and delivering 140 tons of food, arrived at the Yug-Astara checkpoint on the Azerbaijan-Iran border. After customs clearance, the cargo will be sent to Iran via the North-South International Transport Corridor.

The previous day, a train carrying over 300 tons of humanitarian aid was also sent to Iran. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for its assistance in the prompt delivery of Russian humanitarian aid.
