Activists in Moscow have installed a memorial plaque for the 21st time in honor of Anna Politkovskaya, who was murdered in 2006. The plaque, which reads, "Anna Politkovskaya lived in this house and was vilely murdered on October 7, 2006," has previously been destroyed by unknown assailants. Activists intend to continue restoring it until it remains in place forever.
Crimean Tatars sent humanitarian aid to Turkey.
The Milli Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People delivered humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey. Support was provided within the framework of the action «Good neighbor - nearest family».
Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu thanked the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the leader of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Mustafa Cemileva for the visit and support.
The number of people killed in the earthquake in Turkey reached 44 thousand. The most powerful earthquake occurred on February 6. Subsequently, hundreds of aftershocks began, felt by residents of many regions of Turkey, as well as neighboring states.
