Crimean Tatar battalion is fighting in Donbass for Ukraine

The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov shared a video of Crimean Tatar soldiers fighting in Bakhmut - the hottest point of the war in Ukraine.

Chubarov’s statement reads: Today the foundation for the liberation of Crimea is being laid in eastern Ukraine. A defensive company of the 251st Battalion named after Noman Čelebijihan of the APU Defence Force is stationed in Bahmut». 

The battalion. Noman Čelebijikhan - Crimean Tatar non-governmental volunteer armed formation of Ukraine. Since June 1, 2022, it has been recognized as a terrorist organization in the Russian Federation.
