A man was detained in Stavropol Krai on suspicion of plotting a terrorist attack
The FSB detained a man allegedly planning a terrorist attack on the Georgievsk administration building in Stavropol Krai.
According to the security service, the man, acting on instructions from his handler, was observing the location where he planned to commit the crime. He then, according to the FSB, purchased components for a homemade bomb. Before he could detonate the explosive device, the radical was detained by security forces.
"I arrived in Stavropol Krai. I wanted to commit a terrorist attack, but I couldn't—they detained me. I admit my guilt and repent," the detainee said.
