The turnover of cafes and restaurants in SCFO exceeded the pre-endemic level.

According to the results of 2022, the turnover of public catering in the North Caucasus Federal District amounted to 163.3 billion rubles. This is 0.9% higher than the level of «coronavirus» in 2021.
The most significant increase was recorded in Ingushetia (by 33.1%).  Of the total amount of CSRF 96.1 billion rubles falls on Dagestan.
According to the data of Rosstat, in the pre-endemic year of 2019, the turnover of public catering in the North Caucasus reached a maximum of 144 billion rubles since 2005. Then it decreased to 106.1 billion rubles per year.
