Accused Jehovah's Witness from Adygea was sentenced to 9 years in prison
At the last meeting of the Maikop City Court of Adygea, the prosecutor asked to sentence Inver Siyukhov to nine years in prison. He was accused of organizing the activities of an extremist organization.
Inver Siyukhov has been in custody since April 2021. He is accused of participating in the organization “Administrative Center of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia,” which is recognized as extremist. According to investigators, he held meetings, coordinated speeches and services, and attracted new followers.
