The death of more than 1,600 residents of the North Caucasus Federal District has been officially confirmed in the “SVO”

Most of the people killed during the “special operation” in Ukraine among the residents of the North Caucasus Federal District and southern Russia were in Dagestan – 736 people. In total, there are at least 1,653 of them in the North Caucasus Federal District.

The deaths of 276 people from the Stavropol Territory, 258 from North Ossetia, 172 from Chechnya, 122 from Kabardino-Balkaria, 48 from Ingushetia and 41 from Karachay-Cherkessia were also confirmed.

The data is based on publications in the media and social networks, statements by authorities and government organizations. Actual losses may be significantly greater.
