Pashinyan criticized Russian peacekeepers

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of Russian peacekeepers in the region of the Lachin corridor of Karabakh. “I note that earlier one of the topics of discussion in Moscow was related to the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor. We discussed this topic with our colleagues from Russia. I cannot say that the results of this discussion are satisfactory. It is very sad that the closure of the Lachin corridor took place in the presence of Russian peacekeepers,” Pashinyan said.

Yerevan will continue discussions to resolve the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and unblock the Lachin corridor. This was stated by the prime minister in the country's parliament. According to him, at the moment there is no agreed draft of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan. “We have not yet received any comments from Azerbaijan on our proposals for a draft peace agreement,” Pashinyan shared.
