Pashinyan said that it is necessary to forget about the escalation of the conflict with Azerbaijan

The text of the peace treaty has been agreed, we need to forget about the escalation and the war between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this in the parliament in Yerevan.

According to him, a new revolution has begun in Armenia, no less important than the "velvet revolution" of 2018. This is the socio-psychological revolution of "real Armenia".

"For the first time in several centuries, the Armenian state and family are one and the same. In the last 6 centuries, Armenia was the homeland for Armenians, and the state was Persia, the Ottoman Empire, the Russian Empire, and the Soviet Union. Usually, the state was hated by Armenians, and the family was beloved and long-suffering," Pashinyan noted.

He also mentioned politicians still eager to annex Karabakh, which is now the territory of Azerbaijan.

"Any demand to continue the Karabakh movement is destructive, as it was and remains an instrument against the independence and sovereignty of Armenia... The Karabakh movement has objectively ended," Pashinyan summarized.

The day before, the Armenian Prime Minister said that the new Constitution of the country should not contain a reference to the Declaration of Independence. The document mentions the need to reunify Armenia with the Azerbaijani territories in Karabakh.
