After the burning of the Koran in Moscow, a criminal case was opened

According to the police, a video showing the burning of the Koran was filmed in the Eastern District of Moscow. The General Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that a criminal case has been initiated.
«A set of operational and investigative measures aimed at clarifying all the circumstances, establishing and detaining a suspect» - said in the release of the department.

The incident was commented by Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov. He drew attention to the fact that the video was filmed against the background of the Holy Lake in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district of the capital. It was here that protests against the possible construction of a mosque were held not so long ago. On April 5, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that a small mosque with an area of 2.5 thousand sq. sq. m will be built not near the Svyatnoe lake in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district of Moscow, but in walking distance from the station of the capital metro "Kosino".
