Посольство Азербайджана в Украине снова пострадало от российских ударов

Минувшей ночью в результате российского ракетного обстрела Киева снова пострадало здание азербайджанского посольства. Осколками и ударной волной в дипломатическом представительстве, расположенном в Шевченковском районе, выбиты оконные стекла.

Помимо посольства, серьезный ущерб причинен близлежащим объектам. Рынок «Лукьяновка» и торговый центр «Квадрат», находившиеся неподалеку, полностью сгорели в огне. Также имеются сведения о повреждениях нескольких жилых домов.

Этот инцидент стал уже четвертым случаем, когда азербайджанское посольство подвергается атаке со стороны российских сил.

Президент Азербайджана Ильхам Алиев ранее высказывался о том, что удары со стороны России направлены не только на энергетические объекты Украины, но и на дипломатические миссии страны, квалифицируя подобные действия как преднамеренные.

«По нашему посольству в Украине было нанесено три удара. Изначально мы рассматривали первый как возможную случайность. Затем мы предоставили российской стороне точные координаты наших дипломатических представительств. Тем не менее, последовали еще два удара, что свидетельствует о целенаправленной атаке на азербайджанские дипломатические учреждения», — ранее заявлял Алиев.

The Anna Politkovskaya Award has this year been given to 11 Russian and five Ukrainian female journalists who are imprisoned in Russia and in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

 

According to the award’s founder, the international organisation RAW in WAR (Reach All Women in WAR), the nominations committee praised the “courage and integrity” of the laureates, who “risk their freedom and even their lives to report on the war and speak out against human rights violations, war crimes and the escalating repression of journalists, human rights defenders and anti-war activists in Russia”.
