Putin stated that he was shocked by the incident and asked that his sincere condolences be conveyed to the family of the deceased child.
On December 16, a teenager armed with a knife committed a terrorist attack at a school in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region. As a result of the brutal attack, 10-year-old Tajik boy Kobiljon Aliyev died at the scene, and a security guard was taken to the hospital with injuries. Before the attack, the killer reportedly asked the boy, "What nationality are you?"
