Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has warned that Russia’s restrictions on Armenian exports are calling into question the future of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), saying the dispute could mark “the beginning of the end” for the Moscow-led bloc if it is not resolved soon.
In terms of population involvement in small and medium-sized businesses, Ingushetia took the last, 85th place among the regions of the Russian Federation with a rate of 13%. Other North Caucasian republics were located from 72nd to 80th lines of the rating.
Thus, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic is in 80th place (28%), Chechnya is in 78th (29%(, Dagestan is in 77th (30%). The Kabardino-Balkarian Republic is in 75th (30.6%(, North Ossetia is in 72nd (31%).
The leaders in terms of population involvement in small business are St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk Oblast and Moscow. There, employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) account for about 60% of the workforce.
According to official statistics, the share of SMEs in Russia's GDP is currently about 21%. This is an insignificant figure - in developed countries, the figure fluctuates in the range of 50-70%.
