Regions of the North Caucasus Federal District Lead in the Dynamics of Booking Tourist Accommodations

Karachay-Cherkessia is among the top three leaders in Russia in terms of the growth dynamics of the number of bookings of accommodations for the summer. Here, this figure has increased 3.3 times since last year. Crimea came in first place, with demand increasing 3.8 times.

The increase in tourist flow to the North Caucasus in 2024 was 3%. Dagestan was among the five most popular regions in the segment of daily rental of suburban properties: 6% of all bookings. In addition, the republic, along with the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and the Stavropol Territory, turned out to be among the leaders in the availability of renting suburban properties. In these regions, the cost of a tourist place per day does not exceed 8.5 thousand rubles.

Total investments in the sector have reached 200 billion rubles; special tourist zones have been created in each region of the North Caucasus Federal District. In the Stavropol Territory, 19 thousand jobs will soon appear thanks to the development of the Caucasian Mineral Waters. The “Caspian Cluster” is growing in Dagestan – a year-round resort town.
