Regions of the North Caucasus Federal District are among the top ten leaders in terms of the lowest share of housing and communal services expenses

Dagestan took third place in terms of the lowest share of family expenses on housing and communal services - 6.7%. This is evidenced by the results of a RIA Novosti study. Kabardino-Balkaria is in 5th place in the rating (6.9%), Ingushetia - in 6th (7.1%), Chechnya - in 10th (7.6%). Experts note that the minimum amount of housing and communal services expenses occurs mainly in the southern regions, which consume less energy resources.

The average family in the Astrakhan Region spends the least on utility bills (6.3% and Kalmykia (6.6%). The highest share of housing and communal services expenses is recorded in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug - about 14%, followed by Buryatia (13.4%) and Amur Region (13.3%).

Analysts noted that this year, for the first time in a year and a half, tariffs in the country increased by an average of 10%. On average, a family spends 5,400 rubles a month on housing and communal services in Russia.
