February 23, 1944, marked a dark date in the history of two peoples of the North Caucasus: on the orders of Joseph Stalin, the total deportation of the Chechens and Ingush began. Half a million people were forcibly uprooted from their homes and sent into exile in Central Asia and Siberia.
"Russian Community" against Chechen children
Nationalists from the "Russian Community" tried to "detain" Chechen teenagers in Moscow on the evening of June 18. Many people in civilian clothes surrounded the children in the area of Lyublinsky Park, not allowing them to leave. The unknown persons ignored questions about the reasons for the "detention", as the teenagers said. More details in our video report.
