Said-Mukhamad Dzhumaev was transferred to strict conditions of detention

A political prisoner, a native of Chechnya, Said-Mukhamad Dzhumaev, was transferred to a single cell-type room (EPKT). There, the convicted person is completely isolated and his rights are limited as much as possible. Last year, Dzhumaev was repeatedly placed in the punishment cell IK-3 in the Tambov region.

Let us recall that on August 19, 2021, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow sentenced MSU student Said-Mukhamad Dzhumaev to five years in prison. According to investigators, on January 23, 2021, on Pushkin Square in Moscow at an opposition rally, he punched and kicked two riot police officers and a police officer.

In the Caucasian and Chechen segment of social networks, the student’s action received support and numerous likes. After being transferred, Dzhumaev was placed at least twice in a punishment cell in IK-2 in the city of Pokrov, Vladimir Region, and IK-3 in the village of Zeleny, Tambov Region.
