The lowest one-time payments to "SVO" participants are assigned in Chechnya and North Ossetia

Only 100 thousand rubles are offered to contract soldiers for participating in the war with Ukraine from the budgets of Chechnya and North Ossetia. These are the lowest rates among Russian regions. Such data are published on the website "Important Stories".

The highest one-time payments are promised to military personnel from Moscow and St. Petersburg - 1.9 and 1.7 million rubles, respectively. In third place in terms of payment is Karachay-Cherkessia (1.6 million rubles). It is followed by Stavropol and Kabardino-Balkaria (1.5 million rubles each).

Since the beginning of 2024, the average one-time payment for participation in the "SVO" has increased fourfold in the Russian Federation. At the same time, according to the publication, regional authorities do not fulfill more than a third of the quotas for recruiting citizens. Against the backdrop of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, the shortage of personnel may push the Russian Federation to a new mobilization.
