The lowest salaries in Russia were recorded in the KBR and Ingushetia

In the first quarter of 2023, Ingushetia and the KBR revealed the lowest average salary in Russia. According to Rosstat, it is 26 thousand rubles.

In other regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, earnings are also extremely low. In Chechnya and Dagestan, the average figure is 27 thousand, in Karachay-Cherkessia and North Ossetia - about 28 thousand rubles.

In the country as a whole, the average salary, according to official statistics, is at the level of 51.8 thousand rubles. The highest salaries are in Chukotka (126,000 rubles), Yamal (119,000) and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (101,000).
