Families from the North Caucasus regions are recognized as the poorest in Russia

The North Caucasus republics took the last places in the rating of material security of families, published by RIA Novosti. In them, parents with two children who receive average salaries have nothing at all at their disposal after the minimum expenses at the subsistence level. At the same time, in reality, the minimum expenses of families are higher than the subsistence minimum.

Moreover, with these calculations in Ingushetia, a family will even go into minus 17 thousand rubles. In Chechnya, the figure is -13.9 thousand, in Kabardino-Balkaria - -13.1 thousand, in Dagestan - -5.4 thousand, in Karachay-Cherkessia - -4.8 thousand, in North Ossetia - -1.3 thousand rubles. Stavropol Krai is in 71st place with an indicator of plus 13 thousand.

The rating of Russian regions by family well-being for 2024 was headed by Yamal, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Magadan Oblast. In them, the potential cash balance after minimum expenses amounted to 125.2 thousand, 87 thousand and 75 thousand rubles.
