Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili stated that the ruling party's signing of a document in support of Ukraine was motivated not so much by fears of an international investigation as by a desire to irritate Russia.
A man mobilized from Dagestan who served in the SVO zone was sentenced to five years
The Grozny Garrison Court and the Southern Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced Shirvani Kazimagomedov, mobilized from Dagestan, to five years in prison. He was found guilty of leaving a military unit without authorization in the Zaporozhye region of Ukraine.
In the courts, Kazimagomedov recalled that a month later he himself appeared at the place of duty. In addition, he spent a long time in the “North Military District” zone in Ukraine, however, despite all the requests, the command did not grant him leave.
The defendant also spoke about the presence of a small child, the father’s disability and the mother’s illnesses. All these arguments did not help to avoid punishment.
