Recall that in July 2020, an employee of the restaurant in Grozny, Movsar Umarov, was detained by the security forces and taken to an unknown location. He later told his family by telephone that he had been interrogated in connection with the viewing of videos by opposition blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov.
After a while, Umarov disappeared, and his family was informed that he had escaped during the investigation. The family believes that he was killed.
