Among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, Dagestan suffered the greatest human losses in the war with Ukraine.

The largest number of residents of the North Caucasian Federal District who died in the war with Ukraine was in Dagestan - 638. This follows from reports from representatives of the authorities and law enforcement agencies.

The deaths of 213 military personnel from North Ossetia, 173 from the Stavropol Territory, 133 from Chechnya, and 108 from Kabardino-Balkaria were also confirmed. The least number of deaths were residents of Ingushetia (43) and Karachay-Cherkessia (23).

According to official data, 1,331 residents of the North Caucasian Federal District died on the territory of Ukraine.
