“200 million rubles were transferred in equal shares by benefactor Suleiman Kerimov for the needs of people in the affected countries,” the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation reported. Kerimov's act was blessed by the leader of Russian Muslims, Mufti Ravil Gaynutdin.
The death toll in Turkey has reached 40,700, with more than 108,000 injured. In Syria, the number of victims was 9 thousand citizens.
