Three FLS regions identified as outsiders in implementing garbage reform

Ingushetia, HRC and CBD were among the regions that are at risk of not fulfilling the indicators of the federal project «Integrated system of solid waste management» by 2024. This was reported by the head of the Russian Environmental Operator (REO) Denis Butsayev.

In 10 subjects, there is no work on road maps, that is, on the creation of facilities - TBT polygons. These are the Amur Region, the Republic of Tyva, the Perm Region, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, the Orel Region, the Primorye Region, the Tver Region, the Republic of Ingushetia and Khakassia.

Butsayev noted that in 2020 the federal project to implement garbage reform was revised, and, in his view, now the achievement of the indicators is more than realistic. In the area of waste management, separate collection, strict sanctions for improper disposal, prohibition of the disposal of recyclable waste are envisaged.
