Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has warned that Russia’s restrictions on Armenian exports are calling into question the future of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), saying the dispute could mark “the beginning of the end” for the Moscow-led bloc if it is not resolved soon.
Three Azerbaijani and four Armenian soldiers killed in gunfire
Three Azerbaijani soldiers had died the day before as a result of shelling from the Armenian side on the border between the Lachin district of Azerbaijan and the Syunik region of Armenia. This is stated in the report of the Baku Defense Ministry.
The Armenian Defense Ministry, in turn, confirmed the death of four and the wounding of six of its soldiers. According to the Ministry, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire on the soldiers during the engineering works and the Armenian side responded.
There were no significant violations of the ceasefire during the night. The situation on the front line remains relatively stable.
