Turkey has stated that it does not allow the Kremlin to circumvent sanctions or supply electronics.
Ankara does not intend to allow the US and European sanctions against Russia to be bypassed through Turkey. This was stated by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu.
Also, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected allegations that Ankara transfers to Russia electronic products and components that could be used in the defense industry.
Earlier, the US warned Turkey about the inadmissibility of export to Russia of microchips and other electronic products that can be used for military purposes. Otherwise, Turkish companies and banks will be subject to secondary sanctions.
