Armenia said that they are not interested in Russia’s reaction to Zelensky’s visit
A deputy from the ruling party of Armenia, Gurgen Melkonyan, commented on Zelensky’s possible visit.
“If the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky decides to come to Armenia, then we must accept him. We are not interested in how Russia will or will not react. We are only concerned with the interests of our country,” the politician said.
Earlier, Armenian media wrote that Ukrainian President Zelensky will visit Armenia in the near future. The exact date of the visit is unknown, but it is expected to take place in March. Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Armenia Lobach neither confirmed nor denied this information. He noted that Ukraine “wants to help Armenia.”
