Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has warned that Russia’s restrictions on Armenian exports are calling into question the future of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), saying the dispute could mark “the beginning of the end” for the Moscow-led bloc if it is not resolved soon.
In Azerbaijan, suspected of attempted murder of a member of parliament
As a result of a joint operation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Service and the Office of the Prosecutor-General of Azerbaijan, four suspects were arrested for the attempted murder of Fazil Mustafa, a member of parliament.
The security forces consider Azer Saryjanov, a religious activist, to be the direct organizer of the action. He visited Iran many times, studied there and was involved in cooperation with local intelligence agencies, as believed by the SSS. The person who shot Deputy Sabuhi Shirinov also visited Iran many times.
Fazil Mustafa was wounded by gunfire on 28 March at the gate of his home in Zabrat.
