Public apologies in Chechnya come from the traditions of the people and are an effective way to educate citizens. This was stated by the Minister for National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press and Information of the Republic Akhmed Dudayev. According to him, certain actions are unacceptable and go beyond the traditions or customs of the people. And all the accusations about the fact that the Chechens allegedly did not practice this before are groundless - this has always happened.

Most often, residents of Chechnya are forced to apologize for the slightest criticism of the authorities. In addition, many residents of other Russian regions were forced to publicly ask for forgiveness from Ramzan Kadyrov.
