Famous Kickboxer Attacked in Dagestan

PFL Champion Timur Khizriev was attacked in Makhachkala. The incident occurred on Daniyalov Street, where two unknown masked men ambushed the athlete near his home.

When Khizriev got out of the car, the attackers opened fire from a non-lethal weapon. Five bullets hit the fighter. He is currently in surgery, his condition is assessed as stable, there is no threat to life.

According to preliminary data, the attackers, shouting insults at Khizriev's family, fled the scene of the crime in a white Priora, where an accomplice was waiting for them. The city has introduced the "Intercept" plan to detain the criminals. The police are investigating.

Timur Khizriev is known for his performances in such organizations as PFL and Bellator.
