In Dagestan, the search for citizens evading military service will be stepped up

The current situation with the conscription campaign in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is a matter of serious concern. It is necessary to intensify work in this direction. This was written by the head of Makhachkala, Yusup Umavov.

Following the meeting of the conscription commission, the mayor of Makhachkala instructed to intensify the joint work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the military registration and enlistment office and the heads of districts to search for draft dodgers.

“We are faced with an important state task - to ensure the fulfillment of the conscription plan. Particular attention must be paid to working with the population, explaining the legislation and measures to increase the prestige of military service,” the mayor added.

Also, meetings on issues of working with draft dodgers and military service under contract were held in the administrations of other districts of Dagestan.
