In Ingushetia, a search is underway for a boy swept away by the Sunzha River

The Investigative Department of Ingushetia has opened an investigation into the disappearance of a child. This afternoon, two young children, both born in 2018, were swimming in an unsafe area in the Sunzha River in the village of Yandare in the Nazran District.

One of the minors was swept away by the strong current. Investigators, working with representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, are currently searching for him. The other child is alive and safe.

Local volunteers have joined the search for the missing boy. The operation is being conducted downstream from the bridge on Promyslovaya Street, in the new development area of ​​Yandare.
