The number of people injured in a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack on the southern Russian city of Volgograd has risen to nine after rescuers recovered the body of a woman from the rubble of a residential building struck overnight on July 31.
A court in Cherkessk found the former head of the Ekazhevo post office in Ingushetia guilty of fraud and participation in a criminal organization. She was sentenced to 4.5 years. She is involved in a criminal case involving the former head of the federal postal service of Ingushetia, Magomed-Bashir Kalimatov. He is the older brother of the head of the republic, Kazbek Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov.
According to investigators, the criminal organization was created by the head of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in Ingushetia, Islam Seinaroyev, and the head of the local branch of the Russian Post, Kambulat Sukiyev. In total, it included 34 people, most of whom were arrested, including Magomed-Bashir Kalimatov. It was noted that his actions contained elements of a crime under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft by fraud). Under the article on fraud, he faces up to ten years in prison, and under the article on criminal association – up to 20 years.
