Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has warned that Russia’s restrictions on Armenian exports are calling into question the future of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), saying the dispute could mark “the beginning of the end” for the Moscow-led bloc if it is not resolved soon.
The Kremlin condemned Azerbaijan for non-recognition of “elections” in the occupied regions of Ukraine
Moscow announced a diplomatic demarche to Baku due to the statement of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry about elections in new regions of Russia. This was reported by the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. “Azerbaijan’s statements about elections in the new territories of the Russian Federation are unacceptable and do not correspond to the nature of the alliance,” noted the representative of the ministry.
On September 9, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry stated that the “elections” that will be held in the internationally recognized territories of Ukraine have no legal force. In fact, Baku did not recognize the occupation of Ukrainian territories by the Russian Federation.
